We are currently hiring for the position of Foreclosure Specialist. The Foreclosure Specialist will review documents related to the sale of a foreclosed property. These documents include FCL document requests and Notes/Mortgages. If discrepancies are found in these documents, the foreclosure specialist tries to resolve them for the property owner. A foreclosure specialist monitors and manages the foreclosure process for a piece of real estate; Ensuring that assigned Foreclosure procedures are completed correctly and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service Transfer notification and Closing: Process involves closing loans LoanSphere and MSP
on Foreclosure files where servicing has transferred to another servicer and files are
removed from the Fay platform - Processing FCL Document Requests: Document rails are launched in LPS by the firm when
specific documents are needed. The specialist assigned will search DocVelocity and Portal
for the requested document. If unable to locate, another doc rail is launched so that the
Docs team can check with the custodian for the doc. - Pre-FC Demand Exclusions Note Originator: This includes reviewing the Note/Mortgage and
identifying the original mortgagee and adding them to MSP to clear the demand exclusion. - Pre-FC Demand Exclusions – Non-obligors: This includes reviewing the Note/Mortgage and
identifying the non-obligors and adding them to MSP to clear the demand exclusion. - Miscellaneous: May be required to take on more tasks by Supervisor and onshore managers
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant course
