Position Summary
The Draft Document Specialist is responsible for accurately preparing and processing Lien Releases and Assignments of Mortgage, ensuring all documents meet required quality standards and service level agreements (SLAs).
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and process Lien Releases (LRs) and Assignments of Mortgage (AOMs).
- Ensure all documents are accurate, complete, and compliant with required standards.
- Maintain a quality target of 98%+ accuracy on all drafted documents.
- Meet daily productivity targets of 25 drafts per day within set SLAs.
- Minimize backlogs by managing workload effectively.
- Conduct thorough quality checks to identify and correct errors.
- Track and report daily/weekly performance metrics.
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficiency and consistency.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, Banking, or a related field.
- Previous experience in document drafting, mortgage servicing, legal documentation, banking operations, or administrative processing.
- Strong typing and data entry skills with high attention to accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience handling mortgage, title, lien, or legal documents is an added advantage.
